Worship
We come together for worship every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome. Please come as you are.
Worship at Our Savior's is musical. We sing praises to God using a wide variety of music, blended from older traditional hymns to newer styles. We have a choir singing regularly in worship. Now and then the Sunday School children sing special pieces. And we have a solid group of people blessing worship with their musical offerings.
Worship at Our Savior's is nourishing. Through scripture and sermon we are challenged and comforted with God's Word. Every Sunday we are fed with the forgiving and strengthening presence of Christ in Holy Communion. Through God's encounter with us in worship we are strengthened for another week of joyful living in service to God's world.
Worship at Our Savior's is communal and participatory. We value the relationships built between one another in this congregation. So it is a great joy to come together weekly to thank and praise God for his goodness with our friends. In this culture which over emphasizes entertainment, we are thankful that our worship is liturgical, meaning "work of the people." It is something we are actively involved in.
Worship at Our Savior's is for all ages. We love children. We love their enthusiasm. We believe children need to worship. Please bring your children and teach them to value and participate in worship through your example. During the school year children's sermons are offered.
